BOMBAY NATURAL HISTORY SOCIETY (BNHS)
Scientists from the BNHS have recorded the presence of new bird (Three-banded Rosefinch) in the eastern Himalayas, taking India’s avian biodiversity count to a total of 1,340 species.
It was sighted in the coniferous forests of the Sela Pass in Arunachal Pradesh.
BNHS is a non-governmental organisation established in 1883.
